Soft Top Tribe #6: Saab 900 convertible

“The Saab” as they both call it is getting a bit long in the tooth now, quite throaty for long journeys and after a couple of hefty garage bills it gets a lot less use than in the old days. Tom tends to use his fixie for short trips but loves having what he regards as a genuine design classic sitting outside his door and has been known to just sit inside, using the Blaupunkt in-car system to catch up on some old mix tapes. With her creative Loft Winger tendancies, Anna prefers it in the rain with the atmospheric patter on the canvas hood, the squeaky wipers that still need fixing and an old Suzanne Vega album she picked up in the Pets in Need of Vets shop on the High Street.
